The following is a list of organizations that either workpermit.com or its consultants and lawyers belong to:

The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) is an independent public body set up under the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999. The OISC is responsible for regulating immigration advisers in accordance with the Commissioner's Code of Standards and Rules. The OISC promote and monitor professional standards and good practice within the industry. Workpermit.com is registered with the OISC at the highest immigration accreditation level possible, giving clients piece of mind, confidence and protection.


The Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) is the official registration body for Australian immigration advisors as required under Australian law. MARA ensures the following:
  • the processing of applications that allow migration agents to register for operation in Australia
  • the administration of a program for continuing professional development to help migration agents keep their knowledge up to date
  • monitoring agent conduct and investigating complaints about possible breaches of the Migration Agents Code of Conduct

The Immigration Law Practitioners' Association was established in 1984 by a group of leading UK immigration practitioners to:

  • promote and improve the advising and representation of immigrants
  • provide information to members on domestic and European immigration, refugee and nationality law
  • secure a non-racist, non-sexist, just and equitable system of immigration, refugee and nationality law

The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is the national association of over 8,000 attorneys and law professors who practice and teach immigration law. The American Immigration Lawyers Association is the national association of immigration lawyers established to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members.


The Law Society of Upper Canada is the self-governing body for the legal profession in Ontario. The Society ensures that the people of Ontario are served by lawyers and paralegals who meet high standards. The primary responsibility or mandate of the Law Society is to regulate the legal profession in the public interest according to Ontario law and the Law Society's rules, regulations and guidelines.


The Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants is an independent national voluntary organisation, campaigning for justice and combating racism in immigration and asylum law and policy.


The Association of Regulated Immigration Advisers is the professional Association for Regulated Immigration Advisers in the United Kingdom. The Aims of the Association of Regulated Immigration Advisers are to promote the image and professionalism of all regulated immigration advisors and to build a partnership and improve communication between other immigration recognised bodies, organisations and institutions.
