The United Kingdom expects migrants to have good knowledge of English, especially for the highly skilled Tier 1 category. Below is a list of countries that the UK recognizes as majority English-speaking. Migrants who are citizens of these countries will pass the English language requirement for immigration under the five-tier points based system.
