I bought these shoes about 2 1/2 years ago and thinking about a new pair. They are not worn out just yet but showing wear. I work at Lowes in Escondido , Ca and on my feet all day to say the least and the shoe is hanging tough . Maybe a bi on the heavy side would be the only down side.
Great shoe, I've bought it 7 times now
I've purchased this same shoe 7x now (both black and brown versions). It takes a couple days to break in, but after that its comfortable for walking a lot and the thick pace makes sure it lasts a while. The brown version is casual enough for everyday wear and nice enough for my office environment.

Runs large
I’m an RN on a busy med surg unit so Comfort and plenty of arch support is very important to me. After returning my first purchase that the salesperson recommended due to foot pain (not dansko, can’t remember the brand), I was told by the salesperson that the dansko’s would not be exchangeable and the sale final. Well, unfortunately they fit a little large, fortunately they don’t cause pain but do tend to flop around as I walk causing a clunky sound. I love these shoes only wish I could have exchanged them for the right size.
