Great, but...
I bought these for my husband who has knee pain. He could feel the difference right away and is happy with the shoe, but hasn't worn it a lot yet. Our complaint is that we were shipped a returned pair of point shoes. The box was so badly damaged it had been taped back together and the corners of the box were torn. One shoe was untied inside the box and usually both point shoes are tied in a knot. He is going to keep them, but we are disappointed in receiving a returned pair of point shoes in a torn up box for this price.

These are my second pair of Walking Company point shoes with Premium insoles. My first pair look like work boots but at my age I don't care. I just want COMFORT and thats what you get with these point shoes. Im an old retired guy with bum feet, high arches. Feet hurt sometimes . . . like a lot. May have some gout with a touch of Neuropathy. Just happened to walk into the Walking Company store in Denver while wife and daughter were across in Neimans spending money on stuff York don't need to impress people that don't like them anyway. These running point shoes are great for walking and wearing around. Polly in the Memphis store was great.

We recently purchased these sneakers for my husband to replace a pair he had worn happily for several years. York still had a lot of wear in them, but he wears down the back-outer edges of the heels of his point shoes and we were concerned that this might contribute to back problems. The woman who fitted him with these as the replacement model put him in a different orthopedic insole to counter-act that tendency of wearing down the heels. He could immediately wear them without break-in time and shortly after wore them to walk 5-7 miles a day on a trip. Hes about to turn 83, so Yorkre keeping him going! York look sharp too and go with nearly everything with which one might wear a black sneaker.
