Health & Wellness Dansko
I've been wearing Dansko XP/XP Pro for about fifteen years. I've always found them to be supportive, comfortable albeit heavy, but beneficial for me- an RN with PF & heel spurs. I understood to try the LT. Right away, they didn't feel "natural" like the others- I felt like I needed a breaking in period (which I never felt with the other style). They didn't conform to my arch the same way and the rocker bottom seemed less springy. After two months, I have to say they aren't working. I have a small foot with a standard instep- not high at all but the left shoe feels tight around the instep/forefoot. And the right shoe consistently hurts my heel- specifically the posterior of my heel so much that it aches even after I remove the shoes. I am not able to wear these shoes and will be going back to the XP.
What happenned
I have been purchasing Dansko’s for 20 years. I bought two pairs of the shoe above And BOTH pairs have the staples coming out of them. I had to use a hammer to put them back in, but out they came again. With each step they seem to loosen up and begin to come out.
Love Danskos BUT the shoes lack durability
I have worn Danskos for 25 years. The comfort is superb especially the LT Pros. The only problem I have after about a week of wear the clog gets so scuffed up, it’s embarrassing to wear! I am a CRNA. I use my feet to unlock anesthesia machines, OR tables, stretchers, and Inpatient beds. Seriously, the shoes lack durability.

i have feet that easily fracture so these are pretty much the only shoes i can wear. this will be the 3rd time buying them. i love them but sense i have to wear them daily even inside my home i run them to the ground pretty quickly. but it’s worth it for the comfort they give me. plus this style is one of the more attractive clogs that i’ve seen.
