Harper vs. Kayla
I have medium arches. I purchased a pair of Kayla's 2 years ago and absolutely loved them. I wanted to get a pair in black and when I saw the Harpers, which look identical but were less expensive, I contacted the company to ask the difference. I was told Harper has more arch support. (it's considered neutral, as is Kayla, but the Harpers definitely have more arch support. Company should clarify in description.) I figure I'd give them a try. At first, the arch support felt like too much. I preferred the lighter support of the Kayla. But after awhile I got used to it. What I did NOT get used to was the fact that the Harpers seem to have wider straps at the toe area. I still wear them, but they don't fit as snugly as the Kayla's - too often I am aware of the fact that they are somewhat loose. For this reason, I'm giving it a 4. Descriptions of the Harper should specify higher arch support and slightly wider straps.
Naot Harper sandal
Most comfortable dress sandal I’ve ever owned. Also can be worn casually it looks wonderful with a Sunday maxi dress. I purchased it at a higher price it’s on sale. Doesn’t get any better.
Received these in the mail today after waiting 3 weeks to get them. Was so disappointed that the straps at the toe are not adjustable with velcro, as the middle strap was bulging above my toes. Other than that, I would not have had to return them. So disappointed as I really liked the look of them. :-(
I wish I could say this sandal worked because I do love the arch. Unfortunately, the straps are so loose as to be unwearable. I have an old pair of Kayla that I wanted to replace and the straps just don't work at all. Also, the photos show the sandal style, "Kayla". Apparently, they are not exactly the same as the Harper, as these have stitching on the straps, while the Kayla do not.
Best arch support
I have been buying this style shoe from Naot for 12 years. The name is Kayla. Why is it now called Harper?
