Comfortable
I have a wide foot and I have bunions. I usually buy extra wide 9.5. I needed an athletic shoe for running and working out. I found that the 9.5 extra wide did not support my foot for activity that involved lateral movement and fast forward movement. I think this shoe runs wide and deep with good wide toe width. That said, I ordered a 9 wide because I did not want my foot to slide around while I was exercising. I needed a shoe that stayed firmly on my heel but gave me enough support in the arch. The stretch was accommodating for my bunion and did not cause any pressure point. This shoe is perfect for me when I go to the gym. So, bottom line, this shoe runs true to Propet size specs if you’ve purchased this brand in the past. For new Propet fans, this shoe runs long and wide, thus accommodating many foot issues. If you need support and more of a “foot hug” while exercising, size down. This approach worked for me and my weirdly wicked feet.
