I bought these shoes as a reasonably atttractive pair of walking around shoes. they are not. The toe box is too small and rubs on the top of my toes, making them painful ( not usually something I suffer with at all. ) and the sole is not cushiony at all, feels very thin when you walk on it, therefore uncomfortable. I unfortunately left it too late to return them as I did not wear them much when I 1st got them aboyt a month ago.

When I received this shoe I was excited. It was pretty, beautiful and had lovely embossed leather uppers. Normally I keep shoes for years and I was looking forward to doing it with this shoe. Now, it's just about a month in, I'm ready to kick it to the curb. That is because of the way the bottom of the shoe is made. The flexible rubber out sole has an "egg crate" like interior that wears quickly through the bottom lining. I took the shoe apart and learned that instead of putting my foot on a solid Stivaletto, I'm setting my foot down on the square, sharp plastic ridges that are part of the interior of the shoe. That is what cuts into my foot. These sharp ridges hurt on the bottom of my heel when I walk in this shoe for any length of time. These ridges are about 3/4 apart. That's just too far to be comfortable for anyone for any length of time.

I love these shoes, unfortunately the size 7.5 length was over ½" too long. I ordered the XXW and this may be the reason why. I am returning them to get the correct size, ortherise it would be 5 stars.
