Originally founded on January 25, 1964, as “Blue Ribbon Sports”, by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight, the vapormax would officially became Nike on May 30, 1971 – taking its name from Nike, the Greek goddess of victory. That same year, the Swoosh logo was created by Carolyn Davidson.

To celebrate the 52nd Anniversary of the Swoosh logo and the company adopting the name Nike in 1971 that vapormax is releasing a special edition “52” collection. The lineup already includes a pair of Zoom Vomero 5s as well as the Dunk Low, which we share the second colorway of the latter.

Dressed in a mix of White, Grey, and Pink color tones. This offering of the nike air force rose fluo black gold color palette comes constructed in a full custom build with mesh tongues and lining. It features a White base with Grey overlays highlighted with Pink contrasting accents on the lateral Swoosh, tongue labels, heels, insoles, and semi-translucent outsole. A Dark Grey patent Swoosh on the medial with “52” vapormaxing on the insoles and heels atop a White midsole completes the design.
