The wear-anywhere denim overshirt
Look for versatile pieces in wearable colours to nail easy everyday style this winter. Layering hardworking staples can be a great way to look put together and take changeable weather in your stride. A denim overshirt is guaranteed to be one of your most worn pieces of the season. We’ll be wearing this classic version, which has a comfy relaxed fit and comes in three washes. Layer over heavy styles, like this pure cotton sweatshirt or hoodie, when it’s cold outside and with a simple T-shirt when spring finally arrives. Choose different shades of the same colour for a clean, contemporary look. Finish the look with your favourite pair of trainers and jeans. We recommend picking a shade darker or lighter than the denim overshirt to stop the look from becoming too denim heavy.

Pieces to invest in is a low-effort, high-impact choice for your winter wardrobe. Stylish but understated, it’s a great building block for easy layering. It will look great with denim and chinos or try with ecru jeans for something a little more fashion forward. Keep cosy by adding some additional layers. This navy gilet will bring out the blue in the sweatshirt and has a water-repellent finish to keep you dry in any sudden showers. Finish with a classic bomber jacket and leather Chelsea boots for a sophisticated take on cold-weather style. When spring comes and the sun finally shines, just lose the gilet or the bomber jacket and add some sunglasses.

Accessories can power up your everyday style in seconds. A good beanie is one of our favourite layering heroes: warm, practical and with instant cool factor. If you’re happiest in neutral colours, adding accessories can be a low stakes way to introduce a splash of colour to your favourite outfits. We like this ribbed beanie hat in winter turquoise or dark yellow (it’s also available in grey, black, and navy if colour really isn’t your thing). Scarves are also great for elevating a winter look. We’re big fans of our pure wool checked scarf, which is made from pure merino wool and comes in on-trend camel.
