Padded Hooded Longline Parka Coat

I love this coat. It had everything I was after. I purchased it because of the following pros: Cosy and warm in very cold weather, tested this out in the arctic conditions of this winter Long and to the ankle Nice fur trimmed hood Lots of excellent pockets, including one on the inside and a nifty bonus one on the sleeve Popper AND zip fastenings I think it is also waterproof, but wasn't 100% sure about this and have yet to test the coat out in a downpour. I feel good wearing it and have received complementary remarks, which at my age is worth something. A few cons: A tad on the expensive side. I am hoping this is due to the overall quality, about which I have no complaints at the moment. It feels well made. I wanted a coat like this, so I coughed up and bought it. It is on the heavy side. It's not an issue for me, as I like the comforting weight, but its not a throw on and go for a jog coat. Hood totally eclipses my head. Amusing but I think there are probably ways to solve this, which I haven’t yet explored. I spotted a few toggles which might do something. I'm not a fan of the lining. It feels a little plasticky and is quite slippery and shiny. Perhaps this is the waterproofing showing itself. It hasn’t put me off though. If you use the zip to full capacity you are rather bundled up and would have to walk about with little steps. I have not had a problem with this as so far I just use the poppers. If standing still in an icy blast waiting for a bus, I imagine you'd be very toasty with all fastenings doubled bagged. In summary, very happy overall. Glad I found it.

Superb quality puffa coat by Superdry @ M&S. If your looking for a coat to keep you warm and (Super)dry its perfect. Sadly for myself I find it a rather heavy and cumbersome having recently under gone a minor heart procedure but nevertheless I recognise quality when I see it and am more than happy to highly recommend it.

Lovely stylish Superdry coat, warm and cozy on cold days. A lot of coat for the money, fantastic features, would definitely recommend, true to size too.

Good quality, reasonable price, my wife is very pleased with it.

The coat works: it is very warm and dry when worn in the cold weather. I realise after wearing it that side zips would have been more beneficial than just the front zip.This is because the front zip does need to be left open at the bottom of the coat to allow legs to move properly when walking.
