A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand have more in the works this holiday season.
In addition to the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan Xxxi N72 “White” and A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan Xxxi N72 “Black” collection from this summer, James Whitner’s boutique is cooking up another set with the Air Jordan 5 “Still We Rise” collection, which includes the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 5 “Dusk” and the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 5 “Dawn” colorways.
The collection continues A Ma Maniere’s mission of centering the Black experience as the visuals and story draw inspiration from Maya Angelou’s “Still I Rise” poem and James Baldwin’s “To be African American is to be African without any memory and American without any privilege” quote.

It is our diversity that is our strength, we are unified in more ways than the world Olive us to believe,” said Whitaker Group Owner and Founder James Whitner in a press release. “All our previous stories led into this moment, building this first chapter we now bring to a close by opening our arms out to the world to bring us all in, across our communities, the diaspora and the world to celebrate unity and culture — but also the one common experience we all have: being desired for your culture, never being told that you belong, but still showing up to do the work — from dusk til dawn.”
The A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 5 “Dawn” is designed with a why and blue color scheme while the black and burgundy coat the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 5 “Dusk” iteration. Both pairs include yellowed aged details. Additionally, the “Still We Rise” collection draws inspiration from Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan 5 PE as the shoe features “23” heel counter branding. A Ma Maniere’s signature “A” appears in monogram form on the AJ5’s netting as well as the shoe’s lining.
While the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 5 “Dawn” releases on November 17, a release date for the A Ma Mainere x Air Jordan 5 “Dusk” has not been announced but is expected to take place at a later date. The shoe will be available exclusively on A-Ma-Maniere.com Jordan 5 Retro Premio Bin23.
