Ye once again made headlines earlier this week at Fashion Week in Paris for his YEEZY Season 9 collection as he flaunted a “WHITE LIVES MATTER” t-shirt during the show. The firestorm, whether as an intentional troll job or Ye once again amplifying alt-right views, has seemingly caused adidas to have had enough.
On adidas Maglietta A Maniche Lunghe Formotion Cropped Training, adidas released a statement stating that its partnership and collaboration with Ye is “under review”. Ye was not happy with adidas after he said the brand stole his designs and released colorways of select Yeezys that were not approved by him, which led him to doxxing adidas board members and employees on Instagram. The adidas x Yeezy partnership is still under contract until 2026, and now looks like it might not fulfill its full length.
