Get Air Jordan 1 Retro Chicago 2015 555088-101 campaign starring Colin Kaepernick, Nike’s “Just Do It” slogan is one of the many the company has founded over its history. It is, of course, largely the most storied, beside the monumental success that trailed “Be Like Mike.”
The latter, also, wasn’t the sole saying Jordan Brand would champion in the ’90s. “Dream It, Do It,” essentially a RETRO on “Just Do It,” was also conceived during that era. It returns this year to anchor a budding JORDAN ZION 1 GS.
Colored in a wide array of shades that coincide with the timeframe in which the style’s moniker was created, this ’90s inspired theme is punctuated with “Dream It, Do It” at the tongue.
Interestingly, and very pointed, is the vintage Coogi sweater-esque theme of the shoe and its March 9 release date. As any good hip hop fan would know, it’s the date the Notorious B.I.G. passed. Could there be a connection? Possibly. But if nothing else, the coincidence is worthy of a second thought.
