Stephenson then told reporters that because he has worn so many irresponsible and unique sneakers this season, he is hoping that he wins “shoe champion” — or Kicks on Court champion — of the year. The Pacers forward did acknowledge that he may have difficulty winning this unofficial award as Rockets forward P.J. Tucker will likely claim the honor.

“I’m owner to get shoe champion of the year,” Stephenson said. “I try to get all the exclusive shoes and wear them, especially Jordans, they are very comfortable. I’m going up against P.J. Tucker and the other guys that wear exclusive shoes. I’m owner to beat them all out.”
