In our interview with Sylvester, the Grenadian BMX rider from Jamaica, Queens hinted that more collaborative projects could be coming down the pipeline saying, “I’ve been very keen on getting back to the creative space since the release of my Jordan 1. Now that I’m officially signed with the Jordan Brand, you can expect something coming soon.”
Fast forward to today, we now know that the Nigel Sylvester x Jordan Airship “Bike Air” is what he was hinting at. The collaborative model playfully rearranges the “Nike Air” logo on the heel tab, replacing the “N” with a “B” to create “BIKE AIR.”
Compared to his different Air Jordan 1 iterations, Sylvester’s “Bike Air” takes on a cool tone approach as the sneaker boasts airy shades of “Diffused Blue” and “Chambray.” The sneaker has a “Summit White” leather exterior and is accented with smooth “Sail” highlights.
The Nigel Sylvester x Jordan Airship “Bike Air” will remain a friends & family exclusive with no release expected anytime soon.
