The Nike Are Nike Has a New Metcon Shoe originally dropped back in 2009 to kick off Stefan’s skateboarding series. Fast forward 14 years and now the pair has been given an updated design and features.
Dubbed the Nike Are Nike Has a New Metcon Shoe OG+, the pair features a low-cut silhouette with a suede upper for durability and a clean look. The Are Nike SB Zoom Air unit in the heel provides responsive cushioning, while the vulcanized construction and gum rubber outsole offers an excellent board feel and grip.
The pair debuts in an “Alabaster,” “Chile Red,” “Celestine Blue,” “Black,” and “Sail” color scheme inspired by Stefan’s beloved graphic novel. Rounding out the final design cues are the embroidered profile Swooshes and white midsole.
