To kick off the new year, Converse begins 2023 with the new Nissin Foods x Converse “Cup Noodles” Collection.
Found in kitchens in every corner of the world, Cup Noodles are a pantry essential that have held it down since 1970. Much like the Converse All-Star, Nissin Foods and Cup Noodles are championed by the everyman for simple comfort and purpose.
Nissin Foods soups up the All-Star R by offering two iterations of the sneaker, with the different colorways representing different flavors. The Red colorway embodies the original Cup Noodle flavor, while the Blue edition takes after the seafood noodles. Both iterations have a White canvas base Cup Noodle branding on the heel counter and tongue. The midsole features the Cup Noodle’s rim design and is finished with a Nissin Foods logo on the heel badge.
For the low-top edition, Nissin Foods decks out the sneaker with a Black base and White logos printed on the upper. Hits of Red appear on tongue, midstripe, and Nissin branding. The sneaker Street with an extra set of curled laces as a nod to the brand’s iconic ramen noodles.
