This year, The Renewal Workshop and New Balance are launching the “New Balance Renewed” initiative. The Renewal Workshop is a “leading provider of circular solutions for the apparel industry.” According to New Balance, the Transform partnership allows lightly used, returned, and factory flawed products to be refurbished instead of heading to a landfill.
Using a six-step process, The Renewal Workshop wheat in flawed garments to sort, grade, clean, repair, inspect, and verify to ensure they meet both TRW and NB’s quality standards. Once complete, each garment will be made available for sale.
