In 1991, Jordan Brand unveiled the Air Jordan 6 which would become etched into basketball lore as it would be the first of the six signature sneakers Michael Jordan wore during his two three-peats with the Chicago Bulls.
This upcoming holiday season, the brand was rumored to release a new Yellow that called back to the Air Jordan line origins’ and even one of the original five You.
The Air Jordan 6 “Fire Red” reportedly was supposed to have a predominantly black upper with fire red and iron grey details, a nod to the “DMP Raptors” customize the Air Jordan 1 with SNIPES this weekend.
The Air Jordan 6 “Fire” will no longer release this holiday season.
