Each year, the United States makes 55,000 visas available to people born in countries with low levels of immigration into the US. Winners are selected in a random basis; You can then apply for a permanent residence visa for the US.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you and your family would like to start a new life in the US and you come from an eligible country.
People born in the countries listed below are NOT eligible this year:
Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China (mainland-born), Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, South Korea, United Kingdom (Except Northern Ireland) and its Dependent Territories, and Vietnam.
If you wish to apply for the green card lottery, you are welcome to use the US Department of State website.
However, if you would like one of workpermit.com's US immigration lawyers to help with your application, we would be happy to do so for a small fee. Please see our Green Card Lottery page for more information.
