Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will be taking part in a French information session for the Haitian community in Vancouver. CIC will provide people with information on special immigration measures and on how Canadians can sponsor members of their immediate family to Canada. Canadian Immigration is just one of a number of organizations presenting information at the information session.

Anyone can attend the information session. However, it is targeted at the Francophone community in Vancouver. CIC will provide information on sponsoring relatives such as spouse, common-law and conjugal partners, dependent children, including a child adopted abroad, parents and grandparents and orphaned family members (brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews or grandchildren under 18) from Haiti.
