Today has seen details of the Green Card Lottery DV 2006 being announced. The main points to note about the new program are as follows:

  1. The Program is unchanged from last year. You canonly apply online and natives of the same Countriesas last year are ineligible to apply.
  2. The entry period for the DV-2006 Green Card Lottery is frommid-day US Eastern Standard Time Friday, November 5, 2004to mid-day US Eastern Standard Time Friday, January 7, 2005.
