UK Home Secretary, Amber Rudd, has devised plans that will leave European Union workers facing the prospect of having to secure skilled work prior to entering Britain. Following September’s Tier 2 visa allocation meeting, the number of Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) available for October stands at just 2,870, according to UK Visas and Immigration data. The department published its September report citing that its figures were correct as of 15 September, 2016.
