There is some uncertainty about when the change in the Tier 2 visa salary threshold will be made.  Will this be introduced perhaps next year after the end of the Brexit transitional period (could be extended anyway) or sooner? 

The Tier 2 Sponsor Licence and Tier 2 visa scheme is frequently the only option for entry to the UK.  The employer needs to provide a job to migrants and needs to sponsor them under the scheme.

Will this new UK visa system make things any easier, compared to the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent and Exceptional Promise visa which is difficult to come under.  There has been criticis

Finally after all the arguments, and drama over the last few years Britain is leaving the EU tonight at 11pm UK time.  As there is a transitional period things will stay largely the same until the end of 2020. 

The salary threshold of £30,000 per annum mentioned in the media for Tier 2 visa applicants sponsored by an employer with a Tier 2 Sponsor Licence, is actually oversimplifying the situation.  There are a number of situations where lower and perhaps higher salaries apply. &nb
